Our History
John and Kay Boone
John and Kay Boone
Directors for Save Our Kids Outreach

John and Kay Boone reside in Wilmington, North Carolina. They have been married for over 30 years and have two children. John III and Gretchen.

They have a deep love and obvious compassion for children as they have served in children's ministries for twelve years teaching Sunday School and Children's Church. However, they also had a strong desire to bring Jesus to the children living in their city's drug and crime-ridden neighborhoods. In July, 1993, that desire soon became reality as Save Our Kids Outreach began. They started in their inner-city communities by reaching out to the children through puppetry and sharing God's Word with fun and creative programs. Since then, they have witnessed thousands of young people and their families receive Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

Four years later, their compassion to reach children of all ages and circumstances continues as they reach out to: inner city children, children in youth prisons, children with AIDS, foster children, and children whose parents are incarcerated.

In addition, they believe if your desire is to impact children, the very least of these , for God, He will surely bless you, your ministry, and expand your vision. And, they believe as we stand together to reach out to our nation's children, we will begin to see strength and unity in the children's families and their communities and unity in the body of Christ as a whole! ...a child shall lead them. (Isaiah 11:6)

We thank you for your prayers and support. If you would like to receive our monthly calendar, or information on how you can become involved in this exciting and unique ministry, please contact us using the addresses on the main page.
